The ideal time is the moment you decide that you are interested in it. Whether it is for sale by Auction or For Sale (Private Treaty) the owner is always interested in hearing offers. Don't be fooled into thinking that you have plenty of time to sit back and wait for the property to go down in price. A good agent will have already provided the vendor with a realistic market price and will be working hard to get an offer to the owner straight away.
