Raised $650,000 in grant money to re-build the St Agnes Primary School Sports Courts

Frances has been busy writing grants and raising money towards the
building of the St Agnes Catholic Primary School recreational sporting facilities.

The project is progressing well, already with stage one completing, which
encompasses two competition multi-use courts (netball and tennis) plus ampitheatre seating fully constructed.

Stage 2 is currently under construction. Funded by grants from Gambling Community Benefit Fund, Brisbane City Council, and the Access and Inclusion Community Partnership Program, disability pathways and facilities are being
built to support recreational facility useage for the wider community including seniors and people with disabilities.

For Stage 3, consisting of a further competiion size multi-use tennis/netball court, plus tennis hotshots and basketball court, Frances has successfully raised $120,000 with thanks to Brisbane City Council, and Tennis Australia. After considerable lobbying of local, state and Federal government, Frances is ecstatic that the Liberal National Member for Bonner, Ross Vasta has announced that a re-elcted Turnbull Coalition government will donat $211,000 in funding towards the construction of the courts.

“Congratulations St Agnes Primary School, and a big thank you to Ross Vasta MP
for his generous support of St Agnes Catholic Primary School”

Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Program – Mansfield Primary School

Photo of Frances if volunteering with Mansfield Primary School’s 6 week Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program. Here we are making fettuccini from scratch. What a wonderful program, where the Mansfield children grow all the produce at the school, used in their classes. They learn how to make soups, pastas, slices, salads, bread rolls, then they learn how to serve, eat their delicious meals, and clean up afterwards.

“Thanks kids, I really loved cooking with you!” Frances
